BEYOND WEEKEND WORSHIP

It’s about ministering to our families, our communities, and each other. There’s so much happening here—we want to make it easy for you to meet people and find out all our church has for you and your family. There’s no better time than now to take your next step of connection.

Discover Harvest

If you’re new to Harvest, this is the first step in the plugging in process. Discover Harvest is a great way to learn more about our vision, history, and priorities while you meet some of the ministry staff and other key leaders from our church.

The short informal meeting consists of a question and answer period, testimony, fellowship and light refreshments.

Harvest Essentials

If the Lord is leading you to make Harvest Fresno your church home, we invite you to our Harvest Essentials Workshop. This class will give you a solid understanding of what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. It is designed to help you learn what it means to Worship, Walk with, and Work for Christ here at Harvest Fresno. The class is taught by one of our elders and is a requirement for anyone interested in becoming a member. Read further about church membership at Harvest.

Small Groups

Harvest is committed to making quality disciples and is not as concerned about the quantity of disciples. A quality disciple is one who worships Christ, walks with Christ, and Works for Christ. Our goal is to be faithful to the Lord’s great commission, and to be deliberate about it on a weekly and daily basis.

Membership

The New Testament clearly indicates that groups of people who were followers of the Lord Jesus Christ identified themselves with, and committed themselves to a particular local body.

Baptism

At Harvest Fresno we believe that Christian baptism by immersion in water is a public identification with Jesus Christ in his death, burial and resurrection. Although baptism is not required for salvation, it is commanded of all believers and is for believers only. Scripture shows that a person was baptized after personally receiving forgiveness of sin through accepting Jesus Christ. The waters of baptism are a symbol of our death, burial, and resurrection to newness of life that happens when we become a new creation in Christ.
