Harvest Fresno is a church comprised of small groups. Our mission is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ by making quality disciples according to the Lord’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:18-20. Harvest is committed to making quality disciples and is not as concerned about the quantity of disciples. A quality disciple is one who worships Christ, walks with Christ, and works for Christ.

 

At Harvest, you will never be alone or “get lost in the crowd” at church, unless you deliberately choose that path. We are committed to ensure that all Harvest members and attendees receive the ministry of the Word, prayer, and enjoy edifying fellowship within the body of Christ on a weekly basis. At Harvest Fresno, we have discovered that the most effective way to minister to God’s people is through the format of small group ministry.

What to Expect

Qualified Leadership

 

Each small group leader at Harvest Fresno possesses the godly characteristics for leaders prescribed in Scripture and will have been trained in small group leadership. Additionally, each leader is trained in biblical counseling to help guide people to resolve problems in a godly, biblical manner.

 

Convenient Locations

 

Each small group meets weekly in homes in various geographic locations. These small groups provide an environment conducive to fellowship and mutual ministry.

 

Bible Study

 

Harvest is a Word-centered church. We are saved and sanctified by the Word of God (Romans 1:16; John 17:17). Our studies alternate between studying books of the Bible and topical studies that equip believers from trusted Christian books and study guides.

 

Prayer

 

Harvest is a church that believes in the power of prayer. Small group ministry is a time where you will pray for others and receive prayer from others.

Mutual Ministry

 

At Harvest we believe that every believer in the body of Christ is to carry out the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:12). We minister to each other through our small groups as we share our lives together, pray for each other, hold each other accountable, and encourage one another. After the lesson, the small groups break out into times of ministry and prayer where men minister to men, and women minister to women.

Current Small Group Times and Locations

 

If you are new to Harvest, we encourage you to join us for a regular time of mutual ministry! We have small groups meeting at locations in Fresno and Clovis, with options available from Sunday to Friday.
